A couple of weeks ago, we decided to go for a little weekend escapade to Oxford *a great way to break the routine!*. I had never ever been there before I as a huge Tolkien fan, I definitely had this English city in my bucket list. Also, there is so much hype about the Oxford University that I needed to see it with my own eyes!
We travelled by train to Birmingham and stayed in the Brummie speaking city for a couple of days. Then travelled to Oxford, however this post is to highlight some of the things we did and discovered in Birmingham!
The world is so beautiful and so big that it is impossible to choose a holiday destination without feeling that you are missing out *hello, holiday FOMO!*. All the names that I have listed on my holiday wish list are dream places and it feels extremely difficult to choose just one.
However, within my busy lifestyle holidays are limited and I must make a decision so we can start planning the trip and are able to pencil in some dates in the diaries. Right now, we change our mind every three seconds as to where we would like to go, so I thought about summarising pros and cons in a travel blog post to help clear my mind.
Sometimes human relationships are tough and when it comes to love, it’s no different. Finding the right person is incredibly hard but you cannot just relax once it happens: connexions need to be nurtured to survive the routine and the passing of time. Personally, I have not always paid so much attention to my significant other as I tend to focus on “what’s next” and put my energy towards career goals, learning new skills or just whatever new obsession I am going through at the time *hello drumming classes or English anthropologists!*
