A couple of weeks ago, we decided to go for a little weekend escapade to Oxford *a great way to break the routine!*. I had never ever been there before I as a huge Tolkien fan, I definitely had this English city in my bucket list. Also, there is so much hype about the Oxford University that I needed to see it with my own eyes!
We travelled by train to Birmingham and stayed in the Brummie speaking city for a couple of days. Then travelled to Oxford, however this post is to highlight some of the things we did and discovered in Birmingham!
It was Friday night and Paris was buzzing. After an exhausting day, we were very hungry and decided to grab something quick at Saint Michel and go to see the Eiffel tower at Trocadero. My sister wanted to try a kebab and I was happy with her choice. We queued in a small restaurant and she ordered first. I went second and explained that I wanted a kebab without any meat parce que je suis vegetariene.
Since its opening in Summer 2018, I have visited The Grand Café in Edinburgh in a couple of occasions for breakfast and brunch and I loved it both times; which is not very surprising since I am an architecture fan of the beautiful Edwardian building that hosts it. Last week they announced a new seasonal menu and I thought it was a great excuse to come back, this time for a proper meal.
